Character Plan
The Downtown Character Committee is an ad-hoc committee made up of representatives from the Golden Planning Commission, Golden Urban Renewal Authority, Golden Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and Golden Historic Preservation Board. The Committee has been meeting in preparation for an extensive 2007 community planning effort to help guide future decisions about the downtown area.
The community is invited to provide valuable insights about what you would like to see in Downtown Golden.

CCRA/DOLA Downtown Character Report: December 2006
In December 2006, representatives from the Colorado Community Revitalization Association (CCRA) and the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) came to Golden for two days to provide an assessment of Downtown Golden. The team, made up of planning professionals, CCRA staff, and DOLA staff, provided insight and recommendations in this report to the Downtown Character Committee.
