the Foothills
Art Center
Set amidst a spectacular sculpture garden and
cloud-reaching pine trees, Foothills Art Center boasts 40
years of extraordinary exhibitions on Golden’s main
street. Located on the corner of 15th and Washington,
Foothills Art Center is housed in a renovated church built
in 1872 and is listed on the National Historic Register.
Explore galleries featuring exhibitions such as the Rocky
Mountain National Watermedia watercolor show, or deck the
halls and find all of your holiday needs at the annual
Holiday Art Market open during November and December. In
our gift shop, original stained glass windows reflect
Colorado sunshine onto the work of over 70 local artists.
